Barbara Aguirre

Our story begins with one woman; mother of six in West Texas. She attended nursing school during and after her third child. In her time, she encouraged her children to do two things: get a good education and take care of others.

Her firstborn heard the message and carried that torch into present day.

Barbara's first-born: Dr Maria Aguirre

This young nurse pored her values into her first-born child. Maria followed in her mother's footsteps and got into medicine, except as a Pediatrician. After 34 years of serving San Antonio's southwest side, and tens of thousands of patients later, we're privileged to have her serve in AJ Pediatrics.
