ROUTINE AND SPORTS PHYSICALS

Preventative Medicine

Even though your child isn't sick or hurt or otherwise, physicals give our team the opportunity to examine them to ensure there won't be problems in the future. In the case that there are indicators of prospective issues, we can take measures to prevent the deficiency or surplus from manifesting.

For babies, we would evaluate things like eating and sleeping patterns, and toilet training. While for adolescents, we would also observe their socialization, behavior, and development. Of course, every patient's physiology is studied--their pulse, blood pressure, blood work, respiration, vision and hearing, heart, lungs, abdomen, and ear/nose/throat. Preventative medicine is very important in primary care, so we highly encourage you stick with our physical schedule.
